Postponement notification

If you are interested in buying a specific property and the auction date is postponed, will there be an announcement at the auction setting the new date? I am getting the impression here that they can postpone the date and then just auction the property anytime they feel like it, with no warning, after the original date listed on the Notice of Sale. Would that mean you forced to actually attend every auction thereafter if you want to be able to buy the specific property?

They have to announce the postponement at the sale, and can not change it, so you only need to attend each sale they announce for that particular property... typically about 30 days apart. Be sure to use http://www.foreclosureradar.com to track the postponements - it will save you a ton of time.
