I need info about National City

I am buying a short sale that is due for foreclosure Aug 14. 3 weeks ago our bid and all the paper work was sent in 2 weeks ago the sellers realator spoke to the neg, and on thursday of last week it went to attorney. Does that mean we are close to getting a answer? Does anyone know National city process for foreclosure?
