Renter in foreclosure

How do I know if my rental property is in foreclosure. I think it might be but mot sure.

in CA a notice of default must be recorded; hence it is a public record and is easy to verify.

You can check with a local realtor or you can easily call the customer service department of a local title company and give them the address. They will be able to provide you with the public record info on a single property. If you can find a local realtor that specializes in foreclosures they should be able to explain the foreclosure timeline.
