FHA-Rural Development Foreclosure

Details on how to help getting out of foreclosure

Comments

I have been served with papers in the mail from Rural Development telling me their goal is to foreclose on my home. It just lists the things that I can do such as: turn over my home to them, sell my home, or be served and evicted. I have almost all of the funds saved to pay the back amount and bring my loan current. I just need until payday to have the rest of the amount and a scared that I will not be safe until then. Anyone have any ideas on how long this process takes with FHA Rural Development? I have to save my home and everyday and petrified that I will be a day short to do so. Thanks.

Hi Para,
The foreclosure laws are different in each state. You do not indicate where the property is located. Even FHA has to comply with the foreclosure laws of the state.

I live in Kansas
