House on the auction block, am I responsible for unpaid HOA and back property taxes?

My house is up for auction and I haven't paid property tax or HOA dues since January 2011. Will those costs need to be absorbed by the bank if my home becomes bank owned?
Will a BK enable me to stay in my home longer at this point?
