I received a notice of that my home will be auctioned off at the end of next month. I knew that this day would come after being denied for any type of Modification or help from the mortgage company. I just don't know what to do next. Do I begin packing and plan on being out by the date they auction it? I've heard that some mortgage companies will give you a cash for keys agreement. Is that something that the mortgage company would contact me about? Or should I not expect anything now that it is up for auction? Any information would help. I don't know what to do and I can't stand not knowing what to expect!
