Notice of Trustee's Sale

I live in California, and just received the notice of trustee's sale.
Basically, my question is... how long do I have in the home? And what can I expect after the sale date, Feb 18th, 2010.
Thanks.

If the sale is not postponed and the auction is held you will be contacted by the bank if the property becomes bank owned or the 3rd party investor if the property is purchased at trustee sale by an investor. You can google Senate Bill 896 which outlines the new changed that took place last year regarding the eviction process on REO's. It is standard practice for the bank or the investor to offer a Cash for Keys in exchange for you to vacate earlier. This amount varies from lender to lender and is subject to negotiation.
