Trustee Sale and Notice of Assessment received afterwards

According to my county's recorder records online, a notice of trustee sale was filed on 11/18/09 for my condo, but I haven't received anything about a new owner. I had a real estate agent look to see if it was sold, and he said it was on 3/16/10, but no transfer is shown on the online records search. How long does it usually take to record?

Also, on 4/16/10 a Notice of Assessment was filed from my hoa for past dues. How can they now file it against me if it's already been sold? The paperwork had a statement of past dues for 14 months. Shouldn't they have filed this after 3-6 months of non-payment?
