Realtor help

I'm an investor looking for a realtor with foreclosure and SS experience to help us enter the market in the San Diego area. We were working with a agent last year that shied away from SS. We can be patient but want to buy smart . Any recommendations? Also, If we are buying at auction, what benefit does the realtor get besides getting our listing once we're ready to sell?
