Need to escalate with Aurora to stop a trustee's sale, should I get an attorney involved?

I submitted the short sale pkg 3 times. They have acknowledged they received it. Appraisal was done 7/2. Trustee's sale is 7/8. I have multiple offers in backup. Aurora says it's too late to stop the sale? What recourse do I have?
Would appreciate any names of supervisors with Aurora, or attorneys who can help?
Thanks!

You have no recourse. Lenders do not have to approve a short sale, or even consider one if they don't want to.

That said you should continue to call Aurora, ask for supervisors and try to find someone at Aurora that will help. A short sale will very likely lead to a smaller loss for them then a foreclosure, so they'd be smart to listen.

Just remember they don't have to, so be calm, polite, and do your best to make your case.

Aint it fun?
