What is my right in a short sale?
I just moved in to a house this month, I am on a month to month. Well we find out that the house is going into a Short Sale. I am wondering what my rights are, do I have to move and is a short sale the same as a foreclosure ? I live in Ca

Short sale is the same as a normal sale. Your rights should be spelled out in your lease or month-to-month rental agreement. If you have a lease, you are entitled to remain until the end of your lease as long as you meet your obligations under said lease.
