Alerts
You can get proactive notification of new foreclosures, status changes of your saved properties and new opening bids. The alerts contain the same deep information contained in ForeclosureRadarÕs search tool, but automatically pushed to you through emails and text messaging.
After selecting

Alerts have Basic and Advanced options for alert type, alert criteria and alert destination. Basic options are included with your monthly subscription. Advanced options require a paid upgrade. Select My Accounts > Billing. On the Advanced Alerts line, click Start Service in the Status column to upgrade your service.
There are three types of alerts:
- The New Foreclosures alert allows you to track new preforeclosure, auction, bank owned and sold-to-third properties.
- The Status Change alert allows you to receive updates on changes to your saved properties, including new foreclosure notices, sales, postponements and cancellations.
- The Opening Bid alert notifies you of new opening bids prior to the trustee sale.
New Foreclosure and Status Change alerts are basic alerts and included free with your monthly subscription. The Opening Bid alert is an advanced option requires an upgrade.

- There are four destination options available for an alert. The destination determines where ForeclosureRadar sends your alert. There are Basic and Advanced alert destination options. Default settings for a destination email address or phone number can be set under Alerts Defaults in My Account.
- The Basic destination is a daily summary email sent at the end of the day that includes any matches to your Alert over the course of the day. The email is sent to the email address associated with your ForeclosureRadar subscription unless you choose to set up a different email destination under Defaults in My Account.
- Advanced destinations include:
- Immediate email: sent when we detect a match to your alert type and criteria.
- Immediate text message: sent to your cell phone.
- Save the property with a specific status or tag.
This last option creates powerful ways to automate your business by having new opportunities automatically flagged for further research or automatically updated upon status changes. This is a great time saver.
