Response time has been short (good). They seem to have inexperienced negotiators ( demanding full value of BPO's).
My Sellers were able to stay current and complete a short sale. This is becoming extremely difficult with the large servicers, but Nation star was very reasonable to work with. Also, my negotiator was reasonable, both on working with a variance on the BPO value, as well as working with us on termite coverage. Lastly, Nation Star is in Equator, which is a smart move for efficiency and communication throughout the process. I would love to work with them again.
I currently have multilpe short sales pending with NationStar thru Equator. We are in month 5 now and still no approval. My issue with them is that they are refusing to pay the Seller's portion of the Title Insurance premium and expect the buyers to pay this. This is a deviation from common practice.
