One West was formerly Indymac Bank. We hear that One West has been great to work with and very responsive to the short sale requests. We have also heard that their process seems to be getting faster!

This video is circulating the internet and may explain why Onewest is being so proactive in their approval of short sales.http://www.thinkbigworksmall.com/mypage/player/tbws/23088/
Submitted complete HAFA short sale pasckage in Oct on the 2nd and confirmed receieved and in system by end of following week, but it took until April 26th to get approval on a HAFA short sale and that is not because anything was missing from file. Nor did they ever asl that anything be resubmitted,, (although it was my initiative to resubmit package, along with finalized ARASS on 03/30/2011 that may have helped move it along) It was also my initiative to resubmit entire package on Nov 18th when file was erroneously sent to outsourced short sale negotiator and was hung up in limbo until finally in frustration, I resent the entire file, reiterating it was a HAFA sile fubmission and request) From Nov until Jan 12 there was no status or any requests for missing items, then negotiator was assigned and now as of April 26th there is a new negotiator assigned. At least we finally have ARASS signed off on and a closing date for 60 days away
