We are told that they seem to be firmly in the "this whole mess is the borrower's fault" camp. Frequently unwilling to give a borrower "full settlement" language, even on non-recourse debt. Pretty good about extending approval and postponing sale dates.

Approval process is about sixty days. I submitted a short sale package to Wilhire June 20th, 2009 and we are almost finish. I did get a postponement of the trustee sale relatively easy. This short sale was a little different because the mother and father as owners was short selling to the son who is the current tennant. The short sale purchase price was $335,000 and the amount outstanding including fee's is around $343,000. The dissapointing part thus far is The Investors cut my 3% commssion (dual Agent) to $1,500.00 and the father and son dispise each other so the transaction has been a challenge.
Rodney Lewis - please contact me as soon as possible - ken.crum@sbcglobal.net . It is VERY Urgent. I am dealing with WILSHIR and want to know how you structured a deal that I was told by them was not allowed, ie, short sale my house to my parents.
